Partying for the Super Bowl should be celebrated with just your family this year or via zoom with friends.  But going small on party size doesn’t mean you can’t go big with flavor favorites.  Since this is a recipe for pulled pork and its fixings are from The Goddess on the Go, you can rest assured it will be quick and easy. You can also trust a goddess when I say that this slider has mouthwatering flavor combinations of all your favorite party foods resulting in both visual and taste wow factor.  Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey and pure maple syrup are added to a kick up barbeque sauce that renders a tender and tasty succulent pulled pork perched on a slider size salted pretzel roll that has been garnished with maple bacon onion jam, topped with bacon and then covered with melted cheddar. I bet you will be glad there a fewer people to share with!

Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey Pulled Pork Instructions

Mix barbeque sauce, Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey and spices together.

Place ½ the mixture on the bottom of a large slow cooker.

Place pork shoulder on top.

Pour the remaining mixture on top.

Cook on high 5 to 6 hours or on low 8 to 10 hours.  Be sure to check to see if pork is tender enough to be pulled apart easily.

Once pork is done, remove pork from crock pot and place on cutting board.  Turn slow cooker to keep warm mode.

Let pork stand 15 minutes to cool slightly and pull apart with two large serving forks, removing large pieces of fat.

Place shredded pork back into barbeque sauce and toss together. Hold on warm.

Make the bacon.
