Prince Williams grooms cake did indeed sound decadently delicious.  He indulged himself, his new bride Catherine and his guests in a cake that made him and everyone happy, a cake made of chocolate!  His taste in women and desserts is impeccable.

The cake was composed of melted chocolate, coarsely chopped butter biscuits, butter, heavy cream and Lyle’s Golden Syrup.  This was set in a spring-form pan and then glazed with a chocolate ganache.

There is a bar version of this dessert called Tiffin that is served at coffee houses all over England.  Watch for the recipe and photo later this week!
